TMDCU LEADERSHIP Rev. Dr. Barnabus Sewell, Moderator Sister Mary Green, TMDCU Secretary Rev. Robert L. Jones, Treasurer Deacon Clarence White, Financial Secretary
TMDCU believes that there should be a UNION among believers and Churches.
Jesus Said … Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:20-23
We envision a unified body in Christ that aims to bring about a progressive and spiritual community in love and joy. We believe that on the wings of our multi-generational membership of churches,
· The community around us will be energize through activities and programs
· This will encourage the brokenhearted, educate and feed the hungry, and enrich the Body of Christ
A dollar-a-day for every Member Church congregation is nothing to be ashamed of: WE can do it (every member church) can do it as a Godly/charitable self-help for our offspring in our "needy families" (WE CAN DO THIS FOR OURSELVES) --- we can GIVE this small amount to lift our Christian and needy families up from their Education Disparity!
We have seen the transformation hundreds of times – people who came to us full of doubt and uncertainty become secure in the knowledge of their rightful place in God’s great kingdom. The change may start slowly – in a Bible Study or Church Service, perhaps – but once it begins, it picks up speed. The good works, shared experiences, time spent in prayer – all bring us closer to our highest calling.
Separate Adult and Youth Classes
It is difficult in today’s environment to
successfully conduct a comprehensive and
engaging Vacation Bible School in past
independent church bodies. So, through
the years we have found it to be a worthwhile
endeavor to come together as a Union to engage
in a one week Christian lesson geared to solicit a
two–way course of study between the instructor
and students.
